Darryl D’Monte


Mr. D'Monte is an experienced Indian journalist and a wildly published columnist. Has served as Resident Editor of the " The Times of India" in Mumbai, the largest English language daily in the country. In 1999 he was the Vice President of the International Federation of Environmental Journalists (IFEJ). He is the Asia-Pacific editor of its fortnightly electronic Tipsheet for environmental journalists throughout the world.

David J. Anable


As president of ICFJ, David Anable is responsible for long-range planning and overseeing institutional development. Prior to joining ICFJ in 1997, Anable was a professor of journalism at Boston University, where he specialized in journalism ethics and law, newspaper and newsroom management, and news writing and reporting. Anable also served as chairman of the university's journalism school for six years, from 1989 to 1996. He has a Master's degree from Cambridge University and a graduate diploma from Oxford University.

Haroldo Castro


Haroldo Castro is an award-winning video director, producer and photojournalist. As Vice President of the International Communications Department for Conservation International (CI), he is responsible for designing and implementating of conservation awareness strategies, as well as directing CI's video productions.

Max Henriquez


Mr. Max Henriquez serves as the acting Scientific and Environmental Director if the private enterprise Señal 3 Meteorology, in Colombia. He studied meteorology in Budapest, Hungary. He writes articles for several magazines covering environmental issues and has also worked as a scientific and environmental writer for the daily " El Espectador". He was the Vice President of the National Association of Environmental Journalists in Colombia for three years until he was named president in 1998. Mr. Hernandez is a professor of environmental sciences, natural disasters, and meteorology at four different universities in Bogotá.

Phillip Bryan Da Silva


Mr. Da Silva holds a Master of Sciences in Marine Resources and Environmental Management, from the University of the West Indies (UWI). Phillip B. Da Silva is a lecturer and Assistant Dean in f the Faculty of Natural Sciences, University of Guyana, and has worked within that department since 1988.
