Abraham Poole
Professor Poole has taught the broadcast segment of the Communications program of the University of Guyana for many years. He is an experienced communications specialist who headed the Communications office of the local sugar industry in Guyana. He has also worked on foreign policy and communication with the Government of Guyana.
Brent Israelsen
Senior environmental reporter for The Salt Lake Tribune, was awarded the 2001 Ford Environmental Journalism Fellowship by the International Center For Journalists to teach and report in Bosnia-Herzegovina and the Former Yugoslavian Republic of Macedonia. He has won numerous regional awards from the Society of Professional Journalists and the Associated Press.
Darryl DMonte
Mr. D'Monte is an experienced Indian journalist and a wildly published columnist. He has served as Resident Editor of the "The Times of India" in Mumbai, the largest English language daily in the country. Currently, he is the President of the International Federation of Environmental Journalists (IFEJ). He is the Asia-Pacific editor of its fortnightly electronic Tipsheet for environmental journalists throughout the world.
Robert Taylor
Rob Taylor is responsible for developing and managing ICFJ's environmental journalism activities, including the Ford Environmental Journalism Fellowships. Has worked as a newspaper reporter for three decades, about half of that period covering environmental issues. He was a John S. Knight Fellow at Stanford University, 1996-1997. Edited quarterly journal of the Society of Environmental Journalists, 2000. B.A., History, Princeton University.
Robert Thomas
Dr. Robert A. Thomas is Director of the Center for Environmental Communications at Loyola University New Orleans. He holds the Loyola Chair in Environmental Communications and is professor of communications and adjunct professor of biological sciences at Loyola University. He currently serves on the board of the International Federation of Environmental Journalists and the Society of Environmental Journalists.
